In a small rural settlement shaped by its agricultural tradition, this house and studio develops from an old stone barn into a composition of fragmented volumes linked by a low connecting element. A timber guest pavilion occupies the far end of a garden planted with honeysuckle, holm oaks and acacias, while a photography studio makes use of the change in ground level to form a large, windowless volume that captures both overhead and western light. The result is an architecture that transforms the site's built legacy into a contemporary way of inhabiting space.
