Amid a rugged, wooded setting, the house rises above the ground while barely touching it. The approach leads down to lower levels, where the interior takes on an introspective character and opens towards the surrounding landscape. Large windows create an immersive experience, establishing an exceptionally close relationship with nature. At the heart of the house, a reddish helical staircase takes on a sculptural presence, generating a play of views and unexpected transitions. Its first, stone step pays homage to Carlo Scarpa. A finely judged balance between form, technique and setting.
