Within a densely built neighbourhood, a large landscaped plot accommodates this late nineteenth-century manor house. The renovation was approached almost archaeologically, recovering original elements and updating the interiors without erasing the traces of time. Hydraulic tiles, mouldings, joinery and finishes coexist with new interventions in a delicate balance between preservation and transformation. Architecture from another era that endures amid the city's rapid and inevitable transformation.
